Having marinaded myself in Camellias for many years I have inevitably come to love some rather more than others. The varieties that I will feature in this section are those that seem to me to be outstanding, based on my first hand experience. Mostly they are plants in the National Collection at Mount Edgcumbe or growing in my own garden, plants that I have seen performing over a number of years. While I may have seen them elsewhere as well, I will only include them if I know them to perform consistently well.
