Area 2B – Notes
Like Area 2A, many of the plants in this section were hard pruned in 2016. For some I had earlier pictures, for others I will have to wait until they start to flower again.
‘Caerhays’ 2B-004. This name is incorrect, the true variety being anemone to peony form. This could be ‘J C Williams’ or ‘Beatrice Michael’.
‘Coppelia Alba’. Whilst this is a white single, as per the Register description, it seems more likely to be a japonica than x williamsii, so I have my doubts.
‘Exaltation’ 2B-012. This is not ‘Exaltation’.
‘Marguerite’ is not listed in the register. There is a ‘Marguerita’, which this variety does not match, and numerous ‘Marguerite’ + surname.
