I had intended posting a video each month during the Camellia flowering season but the first half of January was such an alternation of frosty spells and storms that the flowers were either not opening or getting trashed if they did. I had two days when I did some filming, 30th January and 1st February, and they were put together in this video. If it stays mild I will likely produce another film before February is out.

The thing I am struggling to get right is colours. A lot of the red flowered blooms have too much blue in them and I haven’t mastered how to correct it. At this time of year the sky is often very overcast and even on sunny days, most of the Camellias are in shade.
